The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 4,449.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 19.2% to around 981.7 million liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,657.98 liras and 1,841.57 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 4,500 liras at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1700, 2000 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time (0700, 0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.90 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
