The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 800 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 liras between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0300-1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday’s electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 104.5% to around 56.8 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 78.41 liras and 83.41 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 199 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0300-1500 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.89 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
