US missions in UAE suspend consular appointments over 'security situation'
'Americans should not come to the embassy or consulate, we will contact you to reschedule,' the notice says

The United States said they will suspend consular appointments in the United Arab Emirates on Monday for three days against the backdrop of escalating military tensions in the Gulf region.

In an advisory, the US Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the US Consulate General in Dubai said all consular appointments scheduled from July 13 to 15 have been cancelled.
"The US Embassy in Abu Dhabi and US Consulate General in Dubai have cancelled consular appointments from July 13 to 15 due to the regional security situation If you have an appointment on those dates, Americans should not come to the embassy or consulate, we will contact you to reschedule," it said.

The embassy also confirmed that it remains on ordered-departure status, with non-emergency US government personnel relocated outside the UAE. As a result, only limited consular services are currently available to American citizens.
Americans requiring passports or other consular assistance have been advised to contact the US Citizen Services Navigator at https://ae.usembassy.gov/services/ and select their preferred location. Consular staff will respond by email with further instructions.
Meanwhile, all routine US visa services in the UAE remain suspended.
