Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, April 29

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 567.06 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 4,500 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.

The lowest rate is set at 0 (zero) liras between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0700-1200 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 127.8% to around 567.06 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 910.25 liras and 1,136.54 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,200 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 (zero) liras between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (0600-1300 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 45.05 liras at 2.28 p.m. local time (1128 GMT) on Tuesday.
